The re-opening of Batumi Botanical Garden to the public! Batumi Botanical Garden has been opened to the public after a 2-month pause due to a viral pandemic in the country. Citizens of the country were given the opportunity to visit it from May 16. Botanical Garden of Batumi has been a member of the European Network of Historical Gardens since 2019, presented by the National Agency for Cultural Heritage Preservation of Georgia. According to the decision of the Mayor of Batumi Municipality, after considering the security measures defined by the specialists in the field of medicine, the Botanical Garden was opened. Botanical Garden will be open everyday from 09:00 to 18:00. A Garden is planted on 108,7 hectares on the village Mtsvane Kontskhi , on the Black Sea coast in Batumi. Joining the European Network of Historic Gardens Association is a precondition for a significant increase in the number of tourists interested in our country's historic gardens in the future. At this stage, Georgia is a member of European Network of Historic Gardens with Spain, Italy, Portugal and Germany.
